My name is M. Elizabeth Doub, LCMHC, NCC, LCASA, RYT200. I am a licensed clinical mental health therapist, yoga instructor, and I can also provide life coaching in Winston Salem and Greensboro NC. I received my M.S. in Human Services with a specialization in Mental Health Counseling in 2014. I also hold a B.A. in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor #11349, licensed by the North Carolina Board of Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors. I am a National Board Certified Counselor #644904, Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associate #22449, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT200 #248647).
I have 12 years experience in the mental health field, working directly with children, adolescents, and adults. I have 6 years of direct psychotherapy experience, beginning with my 10-month internship in August 2013 with Easter Seals UCP in Statesville, NC. In November 2015, I began a position as Licensed Therapist with Alexander Youth Network in Winston-Salem, NC - where I am currently a contract clinician in the office-setting as well as school-based therapy in Winston Salem Forsyth County Schools.
My general counseling style is based on an Integrative Holistic Approach, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques, and, also draw from Mindfulness Based Therapy, Body-Mind Therapies, and Experiential Therapies. I am an NMT trained clinician as well as MATCH ADTC therapist.
